It’s September 5th, 2023. The stats for Bitcoin today register a somewhat lukewarm atmosphere in which the top coin seems to slow down on its progress. Admittedly, the Bitcoin market seems to be in a bit of a struggle to summon the bulls.

Bitcoin is currently trading at around $25,740 at the time of this writing, with a 0.66% pullback over the last 24 hours and a 0.96% loss over the last 7 days.

Bitcoin Trading Volume

The last 24 hours have seen around $10.9 billion traded, amounting to a total of 424,850 BTC coins transacted over the network within this period. This is 8% decrease from yesterday.

The entire crypto market has recorded a total crypto trading volume of $24.6 billion over the past 24 hours. This is an 11% overall increase compared to the same period yesterday.

Bitcoin Market Cap

While the price has struggled, Bitcoin today has managed to maintain its market cap above the $500 billion mark. Today, it records $501 billion. However, this is a slight (almost negligible) decrease compared to the postings of the same day last week.

Bitcoin Today Fear And Greed Index

It seems that people are still in the feat phase as far as the Bitcoin market is concerned. This may be as a result of the current price uncertainty. As at now, the Bitcoin Fear & Greed Index points at the 35 mark – denoting the fear region.

Bitcoin Market Dominance

According to the figures as given on CoinMarketCap, the total crypto market cap today stands at around $1.04 Trillion. Compared to the same period 24 hours back, there’s a 0.36% decrease.

With Bitcoin today making up $501 billion of this, it retains an impressive market dominance of 48.2%. Still, it’s a slight decrease from the figures of the last few days.
